Payment Plans at the BJC

As part of our ongoing commitment to making contemporary craft as accessible as possible, the Baltimore Jewelry Center is excited to offer payment plans on gallery and metalshop purchases! The goal of this new aspect of our gallery program is to create new paths toward building collections and supporting artists for individuals who are new to collecting artwork.

Initiating A Payment Plan:

Payment plans are available for purchases from the Baltimore Jewelry Center’s gallery and Metal Shop.

Payment plans can be initiated in-person with a BJC staff member or online via email at info@baltimorejewelrycenter.org.

When initiating a payment plan, a down payment of 25% or more of the purchased item’s retail value (including applicable sales tax) will be required upfront. A paypal invoice will be issued for the remainder of the item’s retail value, and must be paid in full within 90 days. The purchased item will be held at the Baltimore Jewelry Center as reserved for the purchaser and may be collected or shipped once the invoice is paid in full.  

As all other metal shop or gallery purchases, all items purchased on payment plans are considered final sale. Abandoned or otherwise uncompleted payment plans are not eligible for refunds. Exceptions are solely at the discretion of BJC management.
