Lydia Martin - Board President
Lydia Martin is a contemporary jeweler and metalsmith living and teaching in Little Rock, AR. She found her way to the BJC in 2017 and since then she has worn many hats in the community. She's been an artist in residence, an instructor, a staff member, and now Board President. Lydia believes in the power of community education spaces and the magic of the BJC. Her partnership with the BJC continues to play a large role in how she educates today, informing the programs, classes, and community building she creates for her current students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Marcy Feeney
Mary Feeney joined the BJC Board in 2023 and has been taking classes regularly since 2018. Since early 2025 she has had a semi-private bench at the BJC studio.
Before joining the board Marcy ran a successful Interior Design business. Her prior aesthetic endeavors include designing area rugs, handbags, and clothing Marcy enjoys being a part of the BJC because it allows her to be around creative people on a regular basis and her board service allows her to support and give back to the community.
Ashley Evangelista
Ashley is a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of culture, business, and people. A proud Baltimore native, she is passionate about increasing access to the arts for underrepresented communities. Ashley brings a creative lens to her professional work, and a personal love for the arts that spans from gallery walls to community spaces. She’s energized by the city’s rich culture, inspired by its makers, and firmly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to create. She also firmly believes that Old Bay belongs on everything.
