Enameling Reimagined is an exhibition with works by Rachel Kedinger. This exhibition aims to showcase and highlight many forms of enamelware, some that have been damaged and forgotten, and others cherished beyond their intended use. As part of her own enameling practice Kedinger has taken these objects and transformed them into more personal, intentional, pieces. These vintage cups, bowls, pots, and pans have been paired up with original works by Rachel who takes inspiration from the historical wares and recreates them using her own forms. The wide use of color and pattern are informed by the historical references combined with Kedinger’s contemporary vision. With a display likened to a kitchen cabinet these objects are meant to be admired, reused and worn just as much as the originals.
Exhibition Dates: March 21 - May 2, 2025 with an opening reception on Friday, March 21 from 5- 8pm
