Antoinette Morales
Maryland-based artist Antoinette Morales has been honing her jewelry-making and metal-smithing skills over the past decade. Her designs focus on the use of gemstones and manipulating metal to create new shapes and bold pieces. In 2018, Antoinette formed xander & olive jewelry, and began selling at markets and shows the following year. In 2021, Antoinette began taking courses at the Baltimore Jewelry Center, utilizing bezels, stone setting, and metalsmithing to her list of skills. When Antoinette is not making rings, asking her jewelry school instructors too many questions, or burning her fingers with hot metal, she enjoys spending time with her daughter (after whom her business is named), reading shameless romance novels, haunting local estate sales, and doubling how much garlic is in any given recipe.
