History lives in objects—in the soft wear of an antique spoon, the iridescence of old glass, the layers of a polished stone shaped by time and earth. These materials carry not just age, but memory. Each carries a quiet story of how it came to be: who held it, where it traveled, what it witnessed. When I incorporate these elements into my jewelry, I’m not just making something new—I’m continuing a story that began long before me. There’s a kind of love story in that—a tender relationship between object and maker, and later, between object and wearer. The moment a piece is passed from my hands into yours, it begins a new chapter. Through touch and time, it absorbs new meaning, becoming more than adornment—it becomes a part of someone’s story, shaped by their life just as it once was by someone else’s. That layered history is at the heart of why I do what I do.
